Rebecca Aronson, DO

Dr. Rebecca Aronson received her medical degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Aronson views the treatment of pelvic pain as addressing the source of the pain and helping to alleviate it, not only resolving the symptoms. Pelvic health and addressing associated pain is important to her because it’s an underserved area of medicine that affects millions of people whose symptoms have not been addressed. Dr. Aronson sees helping these patients as a great way to increase their quality of life.

Get To Know Your Doctor

Why did you become a doctor?

Dr. Aronson has always been fascinated by the human body and medicine allows her to help people improve themselves. She tries to make people feel comfortable presenting their symptoms and reviewing different treatment options.

What is your approach to pelvic pain?

Pelvic pain treatment is addressing the source directly and helping to alleviate the pain, it is important to me because it’s an underserved area of medicine. Pelvic pain affects millions of people whose symptoms have not been addressed and have been overlooked. It is important to get to know the patient and really strive to increase the quality of life among this population.

How would you define patient care?

When patients have dealt with this kind of pain for some time I try to make my patients feel as comfortable as possible when presenting their symptoms. A lot of times they have been misdiagnosed and have been dealt with a lot of unanswered questions. I like to review multiple treatment options and rule out what works and what does not.
